Our Mission
To create, design, and fabricate images and typography signage for business identity and/or high quality, affordable, custom or general signs for those customers seeking more than just the ordinary.
Humble Beginnings
It all started when I drew a picture of Roger Staubach, the quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys around 1977. I used a #2 school pencil on notebook paper. I later dreamed of becoming an artist designing album covers for rock bands. I deferred college for a blue collar career working for County Government fabricating street road name signs. That led me to creating and fabricating signs for the office environment within the County Government itself using the computer CAD as a tool. I was self taught using the newest desktop Microsoft 3.1 operating system and the lettering software I have no clue what the name was. I was exposed to the private sector sign companies for my education on all the possibilities that I might explore and so, I did. After many years working in the industry for other sign companies, I am now Vital Signs.

Better late than never, but I was saved by grace at age 35. I was one way and now I am completely different. I am the husband of my beautiful wife Lore, father to my son Elijah, and master to our Labrador named Maccs. I am a lifelong tortured NC State fan. I sometimes get lost in the Marsh of Masonboro Island rowing my canoe across the Intercoastal Waterway.
